This one was a Belgian-style Trippel, and rang in at just over 12%, which may be why I didn’t get anything posted. Well, that and wrapping gifts while drinking it. The alcohol came through quite well, but not hot, and there was a bit of funkiness and fruity flavour to it as well. Don’t remember much about the carbonation, or head retention; the colour looks good in the photo, so I’m going to go with that straw gold you expect from a Trippel.
